A CTA is also an effective element in generating sales leads that is a result of your marketing campaign. Your marketing campaign can include all content, press release, social media updates, email blast and even blog posts.

Remember you want your readers to go on a journey. Use snappy language to encourage them to take that journey with you.

In my years of constructing CTAs, I found out that the simplest tend to be the most effective in converting prospects into customers. Avoid using technical and hard-to-understand CTAs as this may turn a lot of people off, much worse, confuse them altogether.

Keep it Short

As the attention span of most readers today get shorter and shorter due to spamming and the proliferation of crappy content online, it’s wise to go direct to the point.

Give them a snapshot of what they’re getting into and please spare them the run-around.

Presenting them in a bullet form is always a good practice. It’s also an accepted practice to include the details of your solution as well.

Social Proof

If there’s a powerful persuasive concept in your landing page, then it’s this one. Adding testimonials or social proof is another key element that adds a powerful hook to your claim. Adding at least 5 short testimonies from satisfied customers will further add weight on your landing page. It’s also cool if customer’s photos are included in their testimonies.
