Bigger role of Smart TV for online search
With the latest technology being incorporated into our smart TVs, the traditional role of the television is quickly evolving by leaps and bounds.
Gone are the days that the sole purpose of the TV is to bring the daily news and the usual TV programming,
today’s smart TVs are more than that. You can plug a flash drive to play your favorite selection of downloaded music, or watch saved movies with it!
But much more to that is that today’s smart TVs are also capable of being connected online. This enables them to do a myriad of tasks usually reserved to the desktop.
Today’s smart TVs are being used to do searches on Youtube, browse Facebook, Instagram and all your social media networking platforms.
But what I think would hit it big this year is that smart TVs will actually play a bigger role doing online marketing searches.
This is not a novelty thing, but a more convenient, quicker avenue for searchers to accomplish. What also makes the smart TV a better choice is that the screen is quite frankly way bigger than your average “big screen” computer monitor.
Mobile Email
Another thing that will greatly impact online marketing this year is that more and more people are going to open their emails using their smart mobile devices.
As the handy mobile device is now as indispensable as the can opener a couple of decades back, online marketers will be force to adapt to this growing handy tool.
What this means is that email campaigns will now be tweaked to make them readable and formatted to suit mobile devices better.
Content Marketing
Content marketing will still out-stat all other forms of online marketing out there by a big margin.
Searchers will continue to go after information laden content as a means to be informed and entertained.
But aside from using the traditional text laden format, marketers will start to incorporated 3D animations and virtual reality to make content marketing more exciting, more interactive and more informative at the same time!
So there you go, my fearless prediction as to what will definitely make it big this 2016 in online marketing!
