Start your week right

I know what you’re going to say “yeah that’s easy for you to say”. I can already hear the boom-town Rats singing “I don’t like Monday” or Jane Weidlin’s “Manic Monday” playing in the background – BUT it doesn’t have to be that way.

You have a CHOICE to either start it right or otherwise. One effective thing I do every Monday, especially in the office is I try to do those MOST important tasks first.

Whether these are bills or answering emails or writing an article, I make it a point to not overwhelm myself during Mondays.

Avoid the Busy Bee Syndrome

Just getting through every day routines can make anyone appear active. But that’s not progress. Set goals and keep yourself accountable for the results.

Make it a point that the results matter and that they can be seen and experienced by others and useful to you.

Get your act together

Be organized. Being a scatterbrain will not get things done. Being disorganized is a malady that won’t sit well with any business organization. Get your act together. Be steadfast in all your tasks. Don’t procrastinate.

Recognize Real-Time Success

Don’t get caught up in the future that you fail to recognize what’s happening now.

Employees don’t need applause at every turn, but they do need to know that you can be pleased, and that they aren’t just pawns that are easily dispensable.

Sending a positive vibes is not difficult BUT it is important. It can make or break your day. It can determine whether you are going to increase your connections or turn off a-many.

If you can follow these simple steps, then I assure you that you are going to send a positive vibe!
